Skeleton watches put the movement on the outside. Everything that is normally hidden behind
a dial — the gear train, the balance wheel, the bridges — is cut away and finished to be looked at. This
collection gathers the openworked references we carry.

What separates a good skeleton
An openworked watch has nowhere to hide. The bridges need to be angled and bevelled rather than left
flat, the wheels should be finished rather than raw, and the whole movement has to be clean — a fingerprint
or a rough edge is visible the moment you look closely. It is the hardest category to reproduce well, which
is why we carry fewer of them and describe each one in detail.
Every listing states the reference number, case size, metal and finish. For the solid-dial equivalents,
see our Royal Oak collection.
